MAZDA CX-5 Gas Mileage & Trim Levels
There are five different trim levels that the new Mazda CX-5 offers. These include the Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature. The first three trims come equipped with a standard Skyactiv®-G 2.5L four-cylinder engine which generates 186 lb-ft of torque and 187 hp. You can opt for either FWD or AWD.
If you’d like to upgrade to a stronger engine option, the two top trims offer a Skyactiv®-G 2.5T four-cylinder engine that provides up to 310 lb-ft of torque and 250 hp, with standard i-Activ AWD®. Depending on your engine, the EPA-estimated fuel economy rating will differ. Check out the 2020 Mazda CX-5 gas mileage ratings below:
- Skyactiv®-G 2.5L four-cylinder with FWD: 25 mpg city and 31 mpg highway*
- Skyactiv®-G 2.5L four-cylinder with i-Activ AWD®: 24 mpg city and 30 mpg highway*
- 250-hp Skyactiv®-G 2.5T four-cylinder with i-Activ AWD®: 22 mpg city and 27 mpg highway*
MAZDA CX-5 Fuel Capacity
The Mazda CX-5 gas mileage offers an efficient drive, as well as a powerful and safe one. It’s also important to note the fuel tank capacity. This will determine if you can make it from Winter Garden to Leesburg with fewer fillups. The FWD models hold 14.8 gallons of regular unleaded fuel and the AWD models hold 15.3 gallons.
